To install the PatternsWP plugin, follow the steps below:

[A] WordPress Plugin Installer:

  1. Access your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the โ€œPluginsโ€ section and click on โ€œAdd Newโ€.
  3. In the search field, enter โ€œPatternsWPโ€ and press Enter.
  4. Once you find the PatternsWP plugin, click on โ€œInstall Nowโ€.
  5. After the installation is complete, click on โ€œActivateโ€ to activate the plugin.

[B] Manual Installation:

  1. Download the zip file and extract its contents.
  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to your computer.
  3. Connect to your WordPress site using an FTP client or file manager.
  4. Locate the wp-content/plugins/ directory on your WordPress installation.
  5. Upload the extracted plugin folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  6. Once the upload is complete, go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  7. Navigate to the โ€œPluginsโ€ section and find the PatternsWP plugin.
  8. Click on โ€œActivateโ€ to activate the plugin.

After activating the plugin, you can either edit an existing page or create a new one on your site.

[C] To insert patterns into a WordPress post or page, follow these quick steps:

  1. Access the post or page editor.
  2. Add a new block or select an existing one.
  3. Click the โ€œ+โ€ icon to open the block inserter.
  4. Look for the โ€œPatternsWPโ€ category.
  5. Choose a pattern and insert it.
  6. Customize the pattern as per needed.
  7. Repeat for additional patterns.
  8. Preview or publish your post or page.


Can I use PatternsWP with any theme?

Absolutely! Almost any WordPress theme that supports Gutenberg can be used to quickly build a visually appealing website with just a few clicks.

These are classic patterns that a lot of web sites use. Also great for learning how patterns are built. The plug-in doesnโ€™t ask anything of me it just works. Thanks PatternsWP
